One of the most common complaint of urinary tract is the cystitis, especially in women. This problem affects more than 40% of women of child-bearing age, but it is frequently possible to find it in postmenopausal women, children and men over the age of 60. A high lower urinary tract infections percentage (bladder and urethral) is cause by Escherichia coli (a bacterial pathogen in the gut). Their appearance is linked to a bacterial attachment and its resulting colonization. The resulting inflammatory processes represent a cause of discomfort that should not be underestimated.

USE INDICATIONS
Ivuxur® is a food supplement composed by PACRAN® (cranberry dry extract), D-mannose, bearberry and zinc.

• PACRAN® and bearberry are useful for urinary tract well-being and functioning.
• Zinc helps the immune system normal operation and it contributes to the cell protection from oxidative stress.
• It completes the D-mannose formulation

COMPOSITION
One Ivuxur® sachet includes: D-mannose (500 mg), cranberry (250 mg), bearberry (125 mg), zinc (from zinc bisglycinate) (6,25 mg).

COMPONENTS
PACRAN®
(standardized extract in proanthocyanidins – PACs) The cranberry is rich of proanthocyanidins (PACs), with the function to facilitate the urinary tract functioning, causing adverse conditions for cystitis. The cranberry acts above the bladder epithelium, reducing the contact of most common pathogenic bacteria, thanks to the PACs action, that are the most active part of the plant. These simplify the bacteria elimination through the urine.

D-MANNOSE
The D-mannose is an unmetabolized simple sugar of human organism and it is obtained from the fermentation of specific wood species and it is extracted without solvents and additives. The intestine cannot assimilate it, so that directly reach the bladder. Its property is physically adhering to the Escherichia coli bacteria, promoting their detachment by the mucosa. The D-mannose is expelled with the urination, with the bacteria.

BEARBERRY
The bearberry is traditionally committed to urinary tract infections. The active substance is the albumin that is metabolized in hydroquinone, which is taken out through the urinary tract, in which it has an antiseptic function. The bearberry is recommended for the urinary tract proper functioning and it supports the draining of body fluids (it has a diuretic function).

ZINC BISGLYCINATE CHELATE
The zinc has an immunomodulatory effect, through the immune defense strengthening. Its antioxidant protection positive effect and its action on immune system functioning, are the main defense against harmful agents. The chelation applied to the zinc favorites its absorption.

USE CONDITIONS
It is advised the consumption of 1 or 2 oral sachets a day of Ivuxur®, as directed by your doctor, consuming it in an ambient temperature glass of water (about 300 ml.).

WARNINGS
Ivuxur® must be stored at ambient temperature (between 8° and 25° Celsius, 46,4° and 77° Fahrenheit) in dry and cool place. The expiry date is linked to the correctly stored product, in undamaged packages. Keep out of reach of children under the 3 years old. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. The food supplements should not be seen as a substitute of a varied and balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle. Possible product chromatic changes must be assumed as a natural phenomenon because of the occurrence of a high quantity of plant extracts.
There are no scientific data about Ivuxur® use in pregnancy and breastfeeding. It is recommended to consult your doctor, especially during the first pregnancy quarter.
